I absolutely have samples of that time period! Unfortunately, extant examples are few and far between, seeing as this was some five or six centuries ago, but there are plenty of portraits and artwork that shows the fashions just fine :) I’ll post some of those in a minute!

I looked around and I couldn’t find many resources at all for that time period, and especially not so specific as “Spanish in California,” but I have a few fashion plates. Keep in mind that these were the non-Spanish representation of said Spanish fashions through publications like Godey’s. I’m sorry I can’t be of more assistance!

I very much like marquise.de. Though they have more eras, they specialize in the eighteenth century, from extant patterns to portraits to how garments were worn. They even have a clothing dictionary! It’s definitely a favourite site of mine, and I used their resources when I was drafting my stays. I hope it helps you as much as it’s helped me!

A lot of the times, you need to focus on one single era - I find it incredibly difficult to be costuming in two different time periods at once.
