Hello! I don’t typically bring my personal life into this blog, besides the costumes I have worked on and other historical things, but I’m going to post a link here and ask all of you fashion lovers to consider following my new personal fashion blog. It’s where I post my outfits, as well as the link to chictopia. Additionally, if any of you are members of chictopia, I’d...

Well you blog is absolute gorgeous! Anyway.. I do...

Keep in mind that these were the non-Spanish representation of said Spanish fashions through publications like Godey’s. I’m sorry I can’t be of more assistance! Spanish Ladies, 1855 Caraco...

Hello, I am working on a display board for...
I very much like marquise.de. Though they have more eras, they specialize in the eighteenth century, from extant patterns to portraits to how garments were worn. They even have a clothing dictionary! It’s definitely a favourite site of mine, and I used their resources when I was drafting my stays. I hope it helps you as much as it’s helped me! Ask me anything

Your historical fashion blog is an epic source of...
A lot of the times, you need to focus on one single era - I find it incredibly difficult to be costuming in two different time periods at once. It’s distracting, and you can’t decide which to work with! So it helps to narrow it down that way. Additionally, if you haven’t already started costuming, go for it! Even if you just begin with something simpler, like a chemise or a...
