pagana-insolita asked: I'm interested in investing in a corset for every day wear, in place of a bra (I always revert to PJs as soon as I get home from university so no worries about overwearing). What, in your opinion, are the best styles for someone with an A or B cup?

The size of your bra cup is not as important to determining what style of corset as is your general figure. What are your waist and full hip (typically five to eight inches below your true waist, depending on your body) measurements? If you have a ten or more inch difference between those two measurements, you have a vintage figure and you can wear a corset with gores in the hips. Now, you can also wear a gored corset if you have less of a size difference, but it’s generally thought to be more comfortable if you have smaller hips to have non-gored pieces. What Katie Did explains this here and suggests corsets they make that go with each type of figure. If you’re going for bust support with your corset, you’ll want an overbust; if you’re solely looking for waist definition, back support, and posture support (which all come with an overbust as well), you’ll want an underbust!
