sleepinginthestorms asked: Could you post some semi-formal winter clothes from the mid 1930s? Preferably something a child would wear, but if you can't find that, adult clothes would also work!
I’ll look! Although I’m confused by “semi-formal” - what exactly are you looking for? Day clothes? Evening clothes? Coats and jackets?
In past times, there really way no “in between” - they had casual (which to our eye, with dresses and suits being worn daily, looks dressed up) and formal. Can you be more specific?
