utopiste:

oh and i finally finished my stays two days ago

aren’t they beautiful

So this is what I’ve been doing while on hiatus from posting over the break!

Now that I’m back, I’ll get to work filling some requests I’ve got in the ask box right away :)

fate-of-faye:

I finally finished sewing the bottom half (the woooorst half) of the binding on my stays! Almost there!
(Although unfortunately, some of my bones are slightly too long and the scissors I have at school with me won’t cut them at all. What a predicament!)

And now for an update on my personal sewing fiascos: I’m starting to bind the tabs on my eighteenth century stays (which is all I have left to do on them). I’ve only just begun and I already feel like swearing but, of course, that’s not very ladylike! But if something slips out, it’s understandable, I’m sure.. after all, just look at that hairpin turn!
